We build NRI Ghar to be usable with VoiceOver, at any text size, and without relying on colour to carry meaning. We aim at WCAG 2.1 level AA. This is our own assessment against that standard, not an independently audited conformance claim.

What we do

Colour is never the only signal. Every urgency state pairs its colour with an icon and a text label, so the meaning survives without colour vision.
Dynamic Type throughout. Text scales with your iOS text size setting, including the accessibility sizes, and layouts reflow rather than truncate.
VoiceOver labels on cards, vault items, meters and controls. Compound cards are read as one coherent sentence rather than as scattered fragments.
Touch targets of at least 44 points on every control.
Reduce Motion is respected. All animation goes through a single motion layer that honours the system setting.
Contrast. Text and interface colours are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios in both light and dark appearance.

Known limitations

Documents you add to the vault are images and PDFs that you supply. We cannot describe their contents to a screen reader, because the app never reads them. You can give any vault item your own title, and that title is what VoiceOver announces.

The document scanner depends on the camera and is hidden on devices that do not support it. You can always add a document from your photo library or files instead.
